ABDOMINAL BIRTH COURSE

A Dedicated Abdominal Birth Preparation Course

Hypnobirthing and mindfulness are about removing the fear of the unknown as well as being present in the moment so you can navigate any situation. Every birth deserves to be positive, personalised, and special.

Understanding birth is important for caesarean section births too because it’s hugely beneficial to support the natural hormones your body needs when giving birth. The key hormone being oxytocin, which is important in bonding, breastfeeding, and recovery. This teamed with making sure your birth feels personalised can make for an incredibly beautiful and empowering birth experience.

That’s why I’m proud to offer a specially dedicated Mindful Natal abdominal birth course.

After our 6 hours together in-person, sat comfy on your sofa with a cuppa, you will understand the main 3 parts of birth preparation – your options, your body, and your mind. You’ll also be clearer on what you want your abdominal birth experience to look and feel like. You’ll also understand what challenges you might face, prepare for if labour starts, and how to navigate this time with confidence and power-play tools in your locker.

Some people feel anxious or apprehensive about birth, and it’s my mission to myth-bust some of the scarier bits and help you feel more neutral about birth. If you’re already feeling more prepared and excited for birth, then you can use the course to delve even deeper into the bits that are important to you and strengthen your vision for birth and the early days.

As an experienced hypnobirthing teacher and birth doula I understand how unique your hopes and fears are around birth and parenthood. A private course provides you with the space and time, and my guidance should you want it, to talk and explore these further.

Our 6 hours  together can be taught over 1, 2, or 3 sessions. This is usually at your home if you’re in Central or South West London at dates and times to suit you (subject to my availablity). The course can also be taught online over Zoom if you’re further afield.

What can I say about my experience with Rachel; after struggling with anxiety for a long time when I found out I was pregnant I knew I needed a tool to be able to enjoy my pregnancy. I found Rachel online and as soon as I emailed her I felt at ease and that she would be able to support me and my husband. Due to a couple of complications I had a scheduled c-section at 37 weeks. Instead of being anxious and nervous, I practiced my meditation and positive affirmations on a daily basis and can honestly say I enjoyed the whole experience. This time last year I would freak out at the thought of an injection or blood test. Now I sit here 3 days after my surgery with my little girl and husband feeling very happy about the whole experience to bring her into the world. Thank you Rachel! x
